Rodel's second last concert held at J.W. Bassett Auditorium, Metro Toronto Convention Centre, on April 9, 1994. The following week, he had his last concert at Los Angeles, California). With him were Cornilla Luna (Understudy for Miss Saigon role), Luzviminda Labindao and Jinky Llamanzares, all Toronto's Miss Saigon cast.

. Due to recent death of our Mom (Dec. 3), Rodel was so lonely that he was able to write the lyrics of the song "Lumayo Ka Man" in 15 minutes. The title of the song in English means "Though You Go Away".
